This is a whole new and challenging opportunity to share my thoughts and observations on the subject of local real estate. Knowing the way I think, however, I know I will find myself venturing into other territory and than finding a way to link things back to real estate, to what I do every day.

I consider what I do for a living to be a privilege. I see one’s home as a sacred place for you and your family. Here is where you spin your dreams, find safety and comfort in the arms of your loved ones, and enrich your life. The neighbourhood where you live shapes and affects the friends you have, the associations you build and the schools your children experience. When I look for a home for my clients I always consider both factors equally. I also encourage them to think about how they will feel as they drive home each evening; are you proud of where you live? Is it a place you can’t wait to return to at night, a place where you envision wanting to live for a very long time?

Our journey to the perfect home is one that I believe is privileged. For a little while I am party to the most important private and intimate concerns of a family. They share with me little details of their lives that pertain to what they want in a home, what makes them happy, what concerns they have, what is important to them, what their plans for the future are. What more valuable exchange could there be between a family and me? I take this privilege very seriously and honour it.
